About

Rachael Sage is a soulful vocalist and innovative multi-instrumentalist who has earned a loyal following with her dynamic piano playing, delicate guitar work, expressive vocals and improvisational audience interaction. Joy!, Rachael’s first holiday EP, is a playful folk-pop collection featuring a cover of the classic “Joy To The World” – an uptempo re-vamp with a tinge of Americana twang. Other tracks include Sage’s original Hanukkah song “Tchatchkes & Latkes”, and her first Yiddish recording, “Umru Meine”. Sage has shared stages with Judy Collins, Shawn Colvin, Dar Williams, Beth Hart, Colin Hay, and Ani DiFranco. She’s received numerous songwriting awards including The John Lennon Songwriting Contest (Grand Prize) and several Independent Music Awards. A record-breaking 22 placements on Lifetime’s TV series Dance Moms have resulted in 10 million+ YouTube views. Look for Rachael’s forthcoming album Myopia, out this Spring on MPress Records/ILS/Caroline.

Acclaimed Singer-Songwriter To Perform at NYC's Pianos on 1/13

4-time Independent Music Award winner Rachael Sage is currently touring behind the Deluxe Reissue of her critically-acclaimed album, "Blue Roses". She will be performing in your area at NYC's Pianos on January 13 @ 7:00pm for her only local show this Winter.  Tickets are available now for $8, 21+.

Rachael captures the essence of the holiday season in NYC with her charming new single "Hanukkah in the Village" that recently premiered on Yahoo! Music. PopMatters says "Even better, she’s put together an absolutely gorgeous lyric video featuring a dazzling array of antiques and creatively designed menorahs." WATCH the video here.

Rachael is available for in-person, phone or email interviews. Promotional help/consideration for her show and/or album are appreciated, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on covering Rachael's performance.

Rachael Sage's critically acclaimed "Blue Roses Deluxe Reissue" features over a dozen chamber-pop gems and showcases the NYC-based multi-instrumentalist's confident, sophisticated songwriting. Folk-icon Judy Collins duets with Rachael on a cover of Neil Young's "Helpless", which debuted at #1 on the folk radio song chart. The album also features members of Patti Smith & Bruce Springsteen's bands and four tracks have appeared in the most recent season of Lifetime TV's "Dance Moms".

Rachael has three great music videos for "Helpless" (featuring Judy Collins), "Wax" and "Coloring Book, as well as an excellent album video EPK, in addition to an EPK with Judy Collins that I welcome you to check out.
